Characters:

• 911 Operator: The person answering the emergency call.

• Caller: The person asking for help.

(The phone rings)

911 Operator: "911, what is your emergency?" (911, ¿cuál es su emergencia?)

Caller: "Help! There's been a car accident." (¡Ayuda! Hubo un accidente de carro.)

911 Operator: "Okay, sir, stay calm. Can you tell me your address?" (Ok, señor, mantenga la calma. ¿Me puede dar su dirección?)

Caller: "I'm on the corner of Ashford Avenue and Cándido de la Cruz Street in San Juan."

911 Operator: "Understood. Is anyone hurt? Do you see any injury?" (Entendido. ¿Hay alguien herido? ¿Ve alguna lesión?)

Caller: "Yes, the driver of the other car seems to be hurt and is not moving much."

911 Operator: "Okay, I am sending an ambulance and the police to your location now. Is there any other danger? Do you see smoke or fire?" (Ok, estoy enviando una ambulancia y a la policía a su ubicación ahora. ¿Hay algún otro peligro? ¿Ve humo o fuego?)

Caller: "No, there is no fire, but the cars are blocking the road."

911 Operator: "Alright, a firefighter unit will also respond to secure the area. I am the operator and I will stay on the line with you until they arrive. Don't hang up."
